Accessibility

We want gloji to feel like home. We’re dedicated to building a website that’s welcoming, a place where everyone can come together to learn, share and thrive. We know it’s not always an easy journey and that’s why we want to make sure you have the best experience possible using our website and get the support you need, when you need it. We’re here for you, every step of the way.

How accessible are we?

The short answer – very! Gloji has been designed and developed to be accessible to all.

We follow the national standard, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at every point, from design, through build to release. With possible rating levels of A, AA and AAA, gloji is built to fully meet AA standards, with AAA standards applied where we can.

What does this mean for you?

We design and develop to AA standards to give you the very best experience using gloji. How and where might you see us putting these standards into good practise? There are many, many ways we incorporate the standards into our design and development. You can’t see them all, but we can give you a few examples that you can see:

Want to know more?

We’re always thinking about the future and considering how we can make gloji more accessible moving forward. As we build, we launch and release regularly, fortnightly at the moment. Each update we make is built and delivered to meet AA standards, as a minimum.

How do we know it meets standards? You can take our word for it as we love to put our website through its paces. So much so, we’ve got a dedicated testing team on the case. They use a combination of tools, both automated and manual, to check we’re meeting standards. We don’t wait until we’re live to test, we test as we build. We’re setting up more automated tests every day to flag any accessibility issues as they arise. The sooner we know about something, the sooner we can spring into action and do something about it.

Can we do better?

Here at gloji we have feedback at the heart of everything we do as we’re always looking for ways to improve. We’re here to support your health and we want to make sure our website supports you in every way too.
If you have any ideas of ways we can improve our accessibility, we’d love to hear them. Don’t hold back! Email us at support@gloji.co.uk.

Before you go

We’re dedicated to continue to test and evolve our website’s accessibility for tomorrow and beyond. We build with flexibility in mind so we can grow and thrive with our users.
